Who we are

Hi! I’m Elliot, a Grand Rapidian who loves birds and nature. I believe that the land we reside on should serve a greater purpose. I believe that the typical perfectly manicured turf lawn is an “ecological dead zone”(to quote Doug Tallamy) that should die and give way to beautiful thriving native “yardens” filled with native plants, singing birds, glowing fireflies, and croaking frogs. I have “re-wilded” my own home, and will continue to add more and more native plants, but I wanted to do more, so I founded Magical Mystery Meadows. I now serve my community by offering high-quality, locally grown native grasses, flowering plants, trees, and shrubs. I want to help you achieve your wildlife-friendly landscape dreams.
